Welcome to Mr. O'Brien's homepage!  I had the pleasure  of joining the Saint Dominic High School Community in September 2010 as a Social Studies Teacher, after  graduating from Manhattanville College in May 2007 with a Bachloer of Arts in  History and Finance.  I then went on to earn my Masters of Science in Secondary Education at Queens College.  I have then gone on to fulfill my second masters in School Building/District Leadership at St. Johns University and am honored to be the Director of Admissions at the best high school someone can study, work, and be a a part of.  Before being named the Director of Admissions, I have had the honor to partake in many different wonderful things. I have taught 11th Grade United States History and  Government, Advanced Placement World History, 9th Grade Global History Part I, 10th Grade Global History Part II, Criminal Justice, and Psychology.  Along with that, I had the privilege to be the moderator of Interact Club, which is  a tremendous service organization, in which "service is above self".   I was the varsity boys lacrosse coach from 2010-2017, where we have had great success winning the New York State CHSAA 'A' Championship in 2011 and 2014. The St. Dominic community is truly a family atmosphere, which makes it a wonderful place to work and watch as students learn and grow to truly get them ready for the college and career place.
