Scholarships

Scholastic Excellence Awards are awarded to incoming freshmen on the basis of their performance on the Catholic High School Entrance Examination. Only students that apply to and are accepted to St. Dominic are considered for a Scholastic Excellence Award.

With great reward comes great responsibility, and at St. Dominic, our commitment to your child comes with an equal commitment from him or her to our school and the high ideals it stands for.
To ensure that we reward the very best and our best strive to maintain their status, we have outlined a few requirements which must be fulfilled for students to retain their academic scholarships in subsequent years.

1.  The student must achieve at least an 85% average for the year. (NO Failures)
2. The student must participate fully in at least one co-curricular or extracurricular activity. (Athletic participation does not fulfill this requirement.)
3.  The student must be in good standing in the high school community.
4.  A review of all the requirements will take place at the end of the first semester and second semester (midterms & finals included).

We are confident that our scholarship students will continue the legacy of success we have established at St. Dominic and achieve the heights we all know that they are capable of reaching.
