Music Honor Society

Tri-M Music Honor Society focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy. Tri-M gives students countless opportunities to perform, lead, and serve the community. Not only will students learn accountability, responsibility, and other character-building social skills by performing music and running the chapter, but students will be able to put together an impressive record of achievements for college applications.
 
Criteria for Induction (Applications available February 28, 2018):
          - Candidate must be enrolled in a music course and have maintained a minimum average of 93%
            average.
          - Candidate must be a person of good character. He/she must assume a professional demeanor in
            rehearsal and performance, and show respect for the work of his/her peers. Candidate will freely assist
            in organizing and moving music, stands/folders or other materials necessary for a successful
            performance/rehearsal.
          - Candidate must participate in service projects as per the Music Department.
 
Requirements Once Inducted (Induction Ceremony date TBD):
          - Mentoring other students in class and becoming a role model of good behavior, and keeping their voices
            down. Students will step up to leadership roles in the organization to help maintain their sections.
          - Continuing to enroll in music courses through 12th grade.
