Welcome to the Msgr. Charles J. Canivan Chapter for the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society !

Membership for Rho Kappa is an honor bestowed upon a student by local chapter for their accomplishments in the field of social studies and overall academic achievement. Each local chapter assembles a faculty selection committee at St. Dominic High School. We are looking forward for both juniors and seniors to apply. Candidates must have an unweighted 90 % for each of their social studies classes and an unweighted GPA of 85% in order to be considered and accepted. On the application document which you will find on this page listed will be the meeting place from October to May. Activities for the society include service projects, fundraising, and field trips. A president, vice president, secretary, and public relations/activities chair will be appointed once the application process has been completed. There will later be a link provided for a google classroom to join once accepted into the society as well. We look forward to your applications, any other questions may be emailed to Ms. Donarumia.
