Anthony Servedio is an assistant principal at St Dominic High School. Mr.Servedio did his undergraduate work in Teacher Preparation at Manhattan College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from Lehman College and received a Professional Diploma in School Administration from Long Island University at C.W. Post. Mr.Servedio is a product of the Catholic school education system; however spent most of his professional career in public education. He spent sixteen years in the New York City school system as a teacher, dean of discipline, and assistant principal. Mr.Servedio worked in the Amityville School District and spent nine years as the principal of Amityville Memorial High School. Mr.Servedio finished his career in public education when he retired as the principal of Central Islip High School. Tony has always had a love for sports and received a baseball scholarship to Manhattan College. At the conclusion of his college baseball career, he was invited to try out for the N.Y.Yankees, N.Y.Mets and St. Louis Cardinals. He coached football at St. John’s University and baseball in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League. You can always find Mr.Servedio on the sidelines at the school games and loves counseling students about life lessons. Mr.Servedio loves being involved with high school students and hopes his experience and counseling has had a positive effect on his students’ lives.
