Mrs. Shana McNamee

Welcome! I am excited for a new school year filled with exploration of the natural world and learning! This page will help you find information about the course, homework, and other assignments. Please feel free to contact me at or stop by Room 201(Earth Science Lab) in the Science Building with any questions!

About Me

I attended Victor Central Schools and graduated in 2008. I am a double alumna of Syracuse University, receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Geological/Earth Sciences in 2012 as well as a Masters of Science in High School Science/Earth Science Education in 2013. After teaching in Chicago Public Schools for a few years, I joined the St. Dominic community in 2017.

This year, I am teaching Regents Earth Science, Regents Living Environment, AP Environmental Science, STEM Research, and Introduction to STEM classes. I am honored to serve as the interim science department chairperson, in addition to being the Science Olympiad co-moderator.
