1) Research the disease you chose in class today. Good websites to start are posted on GC
2) Complete a one page research page on your disease answering the following questions. This can be typed or written, but must be a physical copy turned into the class shelf first thing on Monday morning:

a graphic of some aspect of the disease 
causes/risk factors
signs & symptoms
diagnosis
prevention
prognosis
treatment 
how the disease affects the _____ system.
resources (at least two)

3) If you want to get a head start in seeing what the final product due next Friday will look like, check out the rubric and an example below

2) Read and take notes on the following article (link on Google Classroom) Be sure to include a definition of positive and negative feedback loops, at least two examples of each and diagrams if necessary.

Finish Anthropometry Lab
Remember the numbers you are using for Part 4: armspan=168, forearm=29, sitting height=74

**NOTE** The armspan was incorrectly listed in class as 68. If you have already completed this question using 68cm for armspan, you will not be penalized. If you have not completed this question yet, please use 168cm instead of 68.

Body Measurement Lab Part 3 #14 due tomorrow. Remember all the details that need to be in a good graph: see the image below for help. A hard copy of the graph must be PRINTED and PASTED in the appropriate space on your lab for credit. Graphs that are not presented as a hard physical copy will not be accepted and detention will be assigned. If your printer is not working, please plan accordingly by printing at a library.

 

You can copy and paste the graph into a blank Google Doc (Click on the graph --> Edit -->Copy, Open a new Doc -->Edit --> Paste) but the easiest way is to print directly from Google Sheets (File->Print).

*Today we worked on finishing Parts 2 and 3 of the Body Measurement Lab. The entire lab will be due on FRIDAY*
