Welcome back Bayhawks! I am Mrs. Stanjones and I am excited to be back at St. Dominic High School! I joined the St. Dominic community in 2016, left for a short time in 2021 to raise my two children and now have returned to do what I love! I hope to offer support and guidance to the students, staff, families and community and I look forward to building positive, supportive relationships with all of my new and current students.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Sacred Heart University (2006) where I was also a member of the Division I Equestrian team. I then went on to pursue my Master of Science degree in School Counseling at Long Island University (2009). For me, my work as a school counselor is not just my profession, it is my passion. I believe it is imperative that our youth are provided with the opportunities to individually develop their own potential. As counselors we are catalysts in this process and serve as the liaisons between schools and families to promote collaboration in educational planning.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and traveling. I look forward to meeting all of my students and families! Feel free to stop by my office and say Hi!
