Mrs. Stanjones is excited to be back at St. Dominic High School as the Director of Guidance! She joined the St. Dominic community in 2016, left for a short time in 2021 to raise her two children and now has returned to do what she loves! She hopes to offer support and guidance to the students, staff, families and community and looks forward to building positive, supportive relationships with all of her new and current students.
Mrs. Stanjones earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Sacred Heart University (2006) where she was also a member of the Division I Equestrian team. She then went on to pursue her Master of Science degree in School Counseling at Long Island University (2009). Her work as a school counselor is truly her passion and she looks forward to helping her students throughout their high school journey. Mrs. Stanjones is also the moderator of the National Honor Society.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and traveling. She looks forward to meeting all of her students and families! Feel free to stop by her office and say Hi!
