hello my name is Peter Thai I'm a senior at st. Dominic high school and a member of the social studies National Honor Society and along with Jimmy Civic Leah will be going over the rise of fascism specifically Nazism and the Third Reich party of Germany first we must ask ourselves what is fascism well it is a political system headed by a dictator that calls for extreme nausea Amazon and racism and no tolerance of opposition largely known fascist movements include Italy from 1922 to 1943 Germany from 1933 to 1940 and Japan from 1931 to 1945 and next is Adolf Hitler who played a large role in fascism within Germany he was born in 1889 in Austria he went to school in Vienna and hated Jews and Marxist throughout his life when he was older he moved to Munich and fought for Germany in World War II which brings us into post World War I after the Germans lost Hitler works for the German Army as an informant he was tasked with finding political parties that were Pro Marxist while looking for these political party he founded the German Workers Party this party was fascist this brings us into the attempted overthrow of the Weimar Republic Hitler join the German Workers Party in 1921 and he quickly Rose to the top of party leadership and 1923 inspired by Benito Mussolini's overthrow of the Italian government Hitler attempted to overthrow the German this Uprising was quickly squashed and Hitler was sent to prison and now we will transition into Jimmy's portion of the slides mine comp this is a book written by Hitler and it translates to my struggle in the book he talks about his life and key events that happened in his life his plans for the future of Germany and how he wants to gnats Empower and a racist view of white supremacy with the Jewish people described as being the lowest meaning that they should suffer the most this picture shows the prison cell where Hitler was and in it as if he is being treated very well in prison even though he's there for trying to overthrow the German government the Nazi party this is a German political party that rally behind Hitler and this paw he was influenced by nationalism racism and wore this party eventually won enough seen the German Parliament and ended in this allowed Hitler to become Chancellor 1933 Hitler use the power he was given to make the Nazis the OWN legal party in Germany and have absolute power in the government the Third Reich the Third Reich was a third German Empire established by Hitler and it began with Hitler's rule in 1933 continue until his demise in 1945 thank you for listening to this presentation and we hope it helps you learn about Nazism in the Third Reich party
