effects of World War 1 what was World War 1 World War 1 or also known as the Great War began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria having a turning point in history with countries fighting against each other the Central Powers were Germany Austria Hungary Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire the Allied powers for Great Britain France Russia Italy Romania Japan and the United casualties has to be one of the deadliest conflicts in history with over 8 million soldiers killed in over six million civilians killed either one's or diseases massive casualties in both the Central Powers and allied powers effect on countries and Empires after the loss of the Central Powers off your hungry hungry cell on November 12th 1918 due to the World War the 1918 crop failure and the economic crisis the treaties of Versailles which ended the war mainly affected Germany was taking full responsibility for the war restrictions on their military losses and repair payment effect of another facts on country's Empire after the promise of withdrawing from the war the Bolshevik came into power and began a revolution to end I rule the Ottoman Empire fell on November 1st 1922 due to a block of mass casualties after the war ship and competition and trade technology to come out of World War I ink machine guns poison gas planes air traffic control and the Machine nationalism nationalism visited is in a tense form of patriotism and or Laura or loyalty to one's country during World War II in any countries with the belief that their own country was the best causing was a bad switch cause intense conflict during the war
