aftermath of World War II getting power after being isolationism and internationalism superpowers that came out of World War II end any events that are in the cold war after winning World War II and realizing we can work better with other nations and we improved our international relations that's what gave us the power to go into the Cold War but the us becoming more powerful our economy also bruised and this led to an increase in the middle class and consumer goods now a lot of people are coming home fighting the war so we had more workers and increased wages people were working more complete to get paid for and with that increase baseball games and things like that little bit more to open Moorefield growth and opportunity family nice After the War soldiers returning home Builders and his new family Island was built by William Levitt. Have a nice place to live. family are more like home environment with men coming home many women lost their jobs and put back into family roles at home marriage rates also increased and women were getting married at younger ages the US Great Britain Soviet Union and China created an organization to prevent another huge war and create peace this was called the United Nations by April of 1945 50 countries had joined in 1948 the US set up the Marshall Plan in an attempt to rebuild European economy more than 13 billion dollars for food and resources were raised for 18 different nations
