Dear Parents/Guardians,

Your student is currently enrolled in Physical Setting: Earth Science and as a requirement for the course and the Regents Examination, students must complete a laboratory practical component.  The exam will take place in the Physics Lab (next door to Earth Lab) and the schedule is listed below. 
 
If your student is given the testing accommodation of extended time they will be given extended time in the Physics Lab and are to report to the Physics Lab (not the Testing Center) at their class' scheduled lab time below.

You should know the basics of earth's shape and spheres, as well as the ways that we measure earth (Eratosthenes method, satellites, early evidence of earth's roundness including ships disappearing hull first over the horizon, etc.)

Like last week's quiz, you must bring your ESRT with you on Tuesday. Reading and interpreting the ESRT is an important skill that you will need for the Regents, so we will be practicing it little by little on most of our tests and quizzes throughout the year.
