Write a reaction essay in English of 1-2 pages long telling what was the most important lesson you learned from Don Quixote.  Be sure to use several examples from the film to back up your opinion.  Please submit your essay in Google.class. 

Study your Review Packet for the Multiple Choice part of your Midterm tomorrow. Please be sure to have #2 pencils with eraser for the test.  Also, remember to bring the Review Packet to class to be checked.

Students will complete the in-class administration Midterm on Thursday, 1/11/18.

Write one sentence per word in the vocabulary list for "Hombres necios que acusais" by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz.  

Read "Soneto XVII" by Francisco de Quevedo and translate it.  Be prepared to analyze the poem tomorrow in class. 

Finish questions 1-10 on page 26 of the textbook.  Submit your answers in Google Class. 

Also, read Francisco de Quevedo's biography and his poetry on pages 26-27.  Create a vocabulary list of the sonnet on the bottom of page 28.  

Complete questions #1-6 for Soneto CLXVI by Gongora in Google Classroom and submit.

Study the notes on video #4 "The Price of Freedom" for a quiz on Monday, 11/6.

Finish reading "De lo que acontecio al mancebo que se caso con una muy fuerte y muy brava."  We will discuss it in class tomorrow.
