Students from St Dominic attend the St Francis Internship Program where they shadow, learn from and interact with the medical team and administration weekly. Each experience is tailored to allow the students to have a hands on learning module on a health saving action and career path. Students are trained in life saving techniques and are on the floor rounds with nurses, NP's, PA´s and medical doctors. On site location and departments include Cardiac Cath Lab, Med Surgical floors, ER, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Oncology center at 2200 site, Pain Management, Anesthesiology, O.R. demo, STOP the Bleed and CPR training, etc.
