English Teacher
I joined St. Dominic in 2019 as the lead 12th grade teacher for English. Since then I have taught at almost all grade levels, though I predominantly teach 12th grade. I have a bachelors degree in English education from Stony Brook University and a Graduate degree in Education from Hofstra University.
We always like to say we're a family here at St. Doms, and that is part of what drew me to the school and has kept me here for all these years. My grandmother was actually a student here in the 1940's and my grandfather was an English teacher turned principal, a path my mother followed. This school and teaching are in my blood and I strive every year to improve not only myself, but also my students' understanding of literature, grammar, and writing.
