Biography
My love of Catholic education began as a student at St. Martha's School in Uniondale. I attended public school in both high school and college, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary English Education at SUNY Oneonta and my Master of Science degree at Queens College.
I began teaching in Catholic school in 1990 at St. Saviour High School in Brooklyn. I taught for several years in the public schools here on Long Island, but my home has always been in Catholic school. I joined the St. Dominic family in 2011 where I taught middle school English Language Arts for ten years. I always loved weaving my Catholic faith into my English lessons, but when I was asked to join the high school theology department in 2021, I was grateful and excited to be able to share my faith with my students on a deeper level and to inspire them to live their faith as well. My goal as a theology teacher is for the students here at St. Dominic's to know, love, and serve God and to go out into the world and share the Good News with everyone they meet.
