Biography
I am so excited to begin a new chapter in my career as a part of the Saint Dominic Junior High and High School. It is such a unique experience to be a part of both on the same beautiful campus and to be embarking on my 23rd year with the Saint Dominic family.
My grandfather was a principal in Croatia and listening to his stories sparked my interest in Education. I attended Catholic Elementary and High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in History and Secondary Education at St. John's University. I continued, on full scholarship, at St. John's and received my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist.
As you can see, I have a strong background in my Catholic faith and decided to give back by teaching in the Catholic school system.
Previously, I worked at St. Joseph’s Elementary School for 15 years teaching Middle School Social Studies, ELA and Religion.
Presently, I am teaching 7th grade Social Studies and Theology grades 7-10.My interests extend to traveling, hiking, boating, tennis and reading. I am also fluent in the Croatian language.
It will be such a pleasure to be able to share my faith journey with students and to experience their journey through their faith filled education.
