All students who are not current members must complete the application.

 

NOTE: Current members DO NOT need to reapply.

Membership Criteria: Candidates who are juniors or seniors, are currently completing or have completed their third year of Spanish, have achieved an average of 90% or above in their Spanish studies and an overall average of 85%, have demonstrated qualities of good character, and have expressed an interest in the study of the Spanish language and culture are eligible for membership.

Mandatory meetings of the society are held once a month. Students must be willing to stay until at least 3:30 pm for all meetings. Members also participate in the preparations of World Language Week, cultural experiences related to the study of the Spanish language, as well as participating in contests and projects that involve the Spanish language.

 

Members must complete service hours from November - May. Failure to attend meetings or complete service hours will result in PROBATION. A second deficiency will result in DISMISSAL.
